Uploaded photo in separate directory
Hello, complete noob here.
I had an Immich install in truenas scale with 2 users on it. Because of my noob-ness with ACLs applying storage template ruined a lot of stuff. Then I started getting the message that immich was moving to a new storage structure and the other one would be deprecated. So I decided to nuke everything and start new and I can't.
My goal is to have all uploaded files saved in a directory away from the rest of the immich data, in the root of my tank, sorted by users and dates, not hidden somewhere in arcane directories. Point is, i want another way to browse the media files and not to be locked in immich.
Can someone please help me do that? I don't care where the thumbs, converted video and other data is, I just want all photos that get uploaded from web/apps to end up in a nice directory tree that i can browse at my leisure.
