Dead by Daylight does not start after recent update - unexpected error #1 on Easy Anticheat startup
Hello there,
After recent update of Dead by Daylight I am unable to start the game, because I encounter an error while starting up the game stating Unexpected error #1. Screenshot attached.
I'm using Heroic installed from .rpm version 2.17.2, previously used .appimage installed in /opt, version 2.17.0. This does not seem to change anything. Game was running under Wine 10.10. I've tried running it with Proton Hotfix provided by Steam, also doesn't work.
System specs in next message - this one will be too long.
I've searched the internet for this issue - the only thing I found was this one, but sadly is not relevant to my situation. I've also found something about core count, however my CPU has 12 cores + 8 threads, so 20 is less than 32 which causes issues.
Other than that, I haven't seen anything similar.
This might be not the Heroic fault, however I'll start searching for help here.

I created a directory called DeadByDaylight, as it was missing, and changed the settings "Wine prefix directory" of DbD to that directory.
Running the game with Proton GE shows multiple windows-styled message boxes "File not located" or something like that.
However
Then I switched back to Wine. Again - Unexpected error #1
After that, I switched back again to Proton GE. For some reason this time the game launched correctly.
I'll try to play for some time, to be sure everything works correctly, but, I have no idea why, the issue has been resolved.
