Battery Issues on New Lily58
I can't seem to charge my Lily58's to over 90% and most times, not even over 80%. They seem to drop charge way faster than advertised (half a week for left side and a week and a half for the right side). They also erratically display random numbers for the battery when I turn them on and off. Sometimes the number goes up after an on off cycle. Sometimes it goes down. Is this normal?

Hello! I can help clarify these battery behaviors for your Lily58.
Regarding the charging percentage, it's normal for the reported battery percentage to not reach 100% and often stay around 80-90%. The percentage is an estimate based on voltage, so it can appear erratic or fluctuate after power cycles. This is expected behavior and not a cause for concern as long as it reaches at least ~80%. You can find more details on our Batteries guide: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/build-guides/lily58-wireless/batteries
For the faster battery drain, here are some common reasons:
* Leaving the keyboard on when your connected device is off. This causes constant advertising and drains the battery.
* Not turning the keyboard off during transport. Keys being held down in transit use more power.
* Connecting to many devices. More connections require more power.
Also, ensure your power switch is on when charging, as the nice!nano won't charge the battery when the switch is off. This is a common oversight.
If you've checked these points and still experience significantly reduced battery life, there might be a short on your keyboard. This is harder to diagnose, but we can help further.

Installing the batteries is a simple but particular step. This guide will go over the positioning and installation of them.
1. I turn the keyboard off when not in use.
2. I turn it off during transport
3. I'm only connected to one device.
But ill continue to monitor the battery life.
I had the same issue
Been using for 2 months now the real battery life is as advertised
I just ignore what the number says most times and charge when ~15%
All right, Ill keep that in mind. So far, it drained from 80% to 50% in two days for both sides but now its been sitting there for a day or two so I guess the reading is just a really really really soft estimate
Ok yeah, I don't think its just the display being erroneous
The right side satellite board drains in 2-3 days, often less
The left side at least lasts almost a week even though that's supposed to drain faster
