Ive read FAQ and chat history, Noise settings arnt saving
As title says
The 3 pictures are me changing noise steps to 4, 8, and 16 with no results. Same will happen with or without shaders/textures

with shaders its abysmal lol
Just tried reinstalling
So the noise texture steps does not work without shaders active?
If you use shaders they override this feature, so you need to change the noise settings shader side in shader settings

What is the specific DH version?
2.3.2? 2.3.3 (nightly)?
Do you have any other mods?
I doubt anything will change, but can you try running DH as the only mod?
Then change the steps amount and try re logging onto the world
