[Help] new to Bazzite, trying to troubleshoot a few games not loading despite valid ProtonDB ratings

Hi there! I'm currently trialing Bazzite in a dual boot system with Windows 10 to help me decide what to do next (Either this October or next year's..). I'm a software engineer of almost 20 years experience, but not a lot of it on Linux, beyond general maintenance/CLI work and esp. not the Desktop side.

This machine is on AMD 5600X and nVidia RTX 3080. Latest stable Bazzite nvidia open image as of this week, 42 i think.

Installation was simple enough as expected and quite a few games i regularly play just worked, at most with a quick proton version change in Steam. A few things remain though:

Google drive - Seems like a difficult thing to get running "properly"? While i did find a temp workaround with Celeste and syncing the specific folder i needed, looks like no great solutions. For the few files i need to sync between Windows and Linux devices, seems like ill just switch a provider unless someone has a clever(er) idea.

I have a 2TB drive dedicated to games/main Steam Library location. I just added it as a library in Bazzite's Steam as well, which worked generally - but i found out some games (Path of Exile 1/2 for example) did not like loading from it - Likely due to it being NTFS (or Dolphin mounting it as fuse fs? not sure). Should i be using exFAT for this?

From the games ive been dabbling with, most worked as said. For one, Etheria: Restart (https://www.protondb.com/app/2084970) i just couldn't get anything working when adding it as a non-steam game and playing around with ~5 different proton/GE versions. After some log investigations, it seems to be related to its requirement of dotnet4 (missing/inability to load mscoree.dll). My small research has shown its a relative known problem with wine/mono support and preinstalled parts, etc. I tried following those guides with protontricks but didn't seem to get anywhere. I'm assuming im not doing this correctly for Bazzite.

If people have suggestions on any of the 3, I'd most appreciate it. Let me know if more info would help.
