How do I change how the water renders in the distance?
What I mean by the title is that I want the water to render without the seam (more smoother transition between the waters) in the distance. Refer to the image in order to understand what I'm saying. I've tried changing some settings using the DistantHorizons mod but I can't seem to get the water to render differently. Is it just not possible to change using the settings?

@Puhpine Oh ok.
@Puhpine (UTC +2) Did the issue get solved?
@Puhpine (UTC +2) I installed the latest version of DistantHorizons and tried changing some of the fog settings but was unable to change how the water renders. There is always a line between the water in the non-LOD chunks (vanilla chunks) and LOD chunks (Distant Horizon chunks) no matter how much I change the settings.
1.21.6/7?
:cou:
Can't reproduce.
Minecraft 1.21.7,
Fabric Loader 0.16.14,
Distant Horizons 2.3.3-b-dev (commit 1edd8097)

I want to get rid of the straight lines between the water

I want it to look more like what the green arrow is pointing too. So more smoother transition.
@hardester I don't know how to do this. I tried changing the settings but it didn't work. I tried using shader packs to maybe hide it, but that also didn't work.
The borders between the water temperature can't be blend. That's a limitation to how Distant Horizons represent blocks in the LOD.
oh ok
😥
As for the mildly apparent fog between the border of the vanilla render distance and the LOD, that's caused by poor blending in vanilla shading. Most shaders already have proper blending, but getting the two to match in vanilla is proven to be harder than it seems.
You can react to the suggestion to add biome blending back to DH, you can find it here: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1252545282642808843
It won’t be the same quality as vanilla biome blending, but it can for sure be better then nothing
Your vanilla biome blend also looks to be set pretty low
You can max it in settings and install Better Biome Blend or Better Biome Reblend
With Sodium it will boost the blending to 15 (from Sodium’s max 7), without Sodium it can go up to 29 (from vanilla max 15)
