> Subject: Severe Connection & Content Issues in Turkmenistan (Region Locked?)

Dear PUBG MOBILE Team, I’m a PUBG Mobile player from Turkmenistan, and I’d like to report a critical issue affecting the entire player base in our country. Problem Overview: We can download PUBG Mobile from Play Store or App Store without VPN. But once we open the game, we must download 1.5–2.5 GB of in-game content (maps, arena, clothes, etc.). These downloads fail or get stuck unless we use a VPN. Then: After downloading the content via VPN, if we turn VPN OFF, almost all maps disappear, but skins and clothes stay visible. Only after turning VPN ON again, the maps show up — but the moment VPN is OFF, they vanish again. To play, we have to use a “trick”: 1. Turn on VPN 2. Open game 3. Wait for maps to show 4. Hold PUBG in background and turn off VPN 5. Go back to game quickly This way the maps "stay," but it's very unreliable and slow. And still, matches fail: When pressing “Start,” 9 out of 10 times the game freezes at 65% with the error “An error occurred. No response.” If the match starts, we face very high ping (300–677ms). Playing with foreign friends (like from Azerbaijan), ping improves to ~70–100ms. Changing DNS does NOT help. Without VPN, we cannot even enter matches. With VPN, ping is too high to play — or the game crashes after 10–15 seconds. What We Think Is Happening: We believe that: PUBG Mobile’s content delivery servers block Turkmenistan IP addresses Or regional routing is broken for Turkmenistan This is not a user-side issue — it’s regional, and it affects thousands of players What We Ask: 1.Allow direct access to CDN/content servers for Turkmenistan IPs 2.Route players to low-latency servers (Kazakhstan / Azerbaijan / Middle East) 3.Remove VPN dependency for basic gameplay Please help us. Turkmenistan players love PUBG Mobile, but we are being locked out — not by our choice, but by network issues beyond our control. Thank you for reading.
