Error upon modded server entry
Internal Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException: cannot invoke "net.minecraft.nbt.CompoundTag.m128459(String)" because "nbt" is null
Upon joining the player is kicked and given this error message. Nothing shows in the server log outside of the player connecting and disconnecting and nothing seems to show in the clients latest.log. Removing distant horizons server side and keeping it client side fixed the issue temporarily, but now one player cannot join without receiving the same error without also disabling the mod client side, while I can join the server using the mod perfectly fine.
Edit: I now also receive this error when trying to join the server unless distant horizons is disabled

There's more that's happening than just that error. Can you send the full game logs?
!logs
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Hmm, this log appears to not contain the specific error as described in your prior message. Maybe this is a new log?
no I specifically dug up this log from the time I opened the game, got the kick, and then immediately closed the game to disable distant horizons client side
its very odd, I couldnt find the error message in my friends log from when he got kicked either
curiously if Im having the error just restarting the game does nothing to fix it, but if I disable distant horizons and join the server then later re-enable distant horizons and join the server I can join fine without receiving the error

until for some reason it comes back after some period of waiting/playing and booting the game back up and I have to restart the process
