Zig zag
Hi, can anyone tell me why he does this zigzag? Thank you

over extrusion? too close to build plate? Unexpected nozzle size? The blobs look like pressure builds up then escapes out the nozzle, root cause I'm not sure tho
I'm having something similar. But not just the jagged lines, I also get very weird patterns in my first layer, too.
Like @TheTik says, I was thinking pressure. Maybe there's too much drag on the filament and then it sort of "jumps". Is that at all plausible?
Managed to resolve it by shortening the reverse bowden tube. I had it partially wrapped around the filament spool. Apparently that was not a good idea. Removing the bit that wrapped around the spool resolved the issue instantly and completely
I'm afraid it's back. I changed how I feed the filament. Now I'm feeding it without a reverse bowden tube directly from above. So there should be no drag at all. That makes it even stranger that this would happen.
Also, another interesting observation: It only happens on diagonal lines. Much like in the OPs picture. Plus it doesn't happen along the entire length. On both ends, there are straights that look fine. 🧐
Restarted the print and now it's OK again m(
Thanks, it seems to me too that it depends on the coil-extender connection
I am afraid I don't know what that is or means. Would that mean a lose connection somewhere?
IMHO you need a PTFE tube to ensure there is no jerking or that the filament catches the edge of the spool and such. I would think feeding the filament from above would generally minimize the filament path which would be a good thing. Having a fixed point in the center of the build plate and then a ptfe tube that reaches the corners of the print bed while maintaining a smooth path would be ideal (what I'm going for). Also there are PTFE tubes that are of larger inner diameter that would possibly reduce the friction inside the PTFE tube. Then, to be fair, I don't know if this is at all your problem. You should be able to work that out by babysitting the printer and manually ensuring the filament is fed smoothly, for testing that.
Yeah, I've thought of that too. But by now I think I can say with confidence that that's not the problem at hand. I have placed the spools on a shelve above the printer and fed high quality PTFE tubes to the print heads. To no avail. I even put the spools on there and manually "fed" the filament to the print head (by pulling the filament from the spool, making sure there is enough slack and that it doesn't catch anywhere). Whether I do any of that or not, the weird pattern shows up some times but not other times...
