LSFG-VK Installation Setup Advice

Saw a few YT videos on this announcement and was the main thing that had me switching my legion go back to MicroWin11 with handheld companion. Tried scrapping channel, but figured having a dedicated thread here would be more useful. I would like to try this out, but cannot figure out if I need to do this as a layer or a distrobox. Any advice or recommendations would be great from anyone that has successfully ran this.
