Legion Go 2 - Strange scaling problem after dabbling with lsfg-vk

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my Legion go 2 running Bazzite. I installed losless scaling (lsfg-vk) and played around with it. Then uninstalled it via ujust.
Afterwards most (not all) games suddenly showed a black bar at the top and bottom of the screen (like display was running a 16:9 resolution instead of the selected 1900:1200 16:10).
This affects ONLY the games. Gamescope and desktop itself use the full screen.
What I tried to solve this (all to no avail):
- dabble with scaling settings
- completly remove the settings for one affected game and completly reinstall the game via steam
- reinstall Bazzite from scratch
- try desktop mode. Here I got Divinity Original sin 2 to run in full screen after turning off automatic Desktop scaling
- boot Windows and run the game in Windows. Suddenly Windows shows the same behaviour
Games affected are for example FarCry6 and Divinity Original Sin 2. Games still working are for example Gunfire Reborn.
I am completly lost why this problem still persists. I can only imagine, that some kind of setting is synced via Steam between Windows and Bazzite?
As anyone here an idea what I can do do get my fullscreen experience back? this is really driving me nuts.
