Is it locked to 30fps or are you having a weird performance issue? If it's locked, are you using Gamescope? (the "steamdeck" launcher)

Bummer, I was hoping it was just a software lock to 30, which gamescope sometimes does (some developers assume you're using a handheld and lock it)
Maybe you can unplug one of the monitors and try it with a single display?

A Valve game should definitely work within Gamescope on Linux.

Gamescope is sometimes very weird about multiple displays so I figured it couldn’t hurt to try unplugging one. Glad that worked but I don’t really know what to do from here since you already weren’t using gamescope
after playing for a while with 1 monitor fps still drops to 30-50
