nlm weird
solved it by f = (whatever), but getting wrong ans by doing μN to find ans directly

You can consider a+b as one block write f = mg
Cause the blocks won't slip amongst themselves
You could also think that since 120N acting on system is downward and they are at rest, hence 120N is applied by wall
Since that is the only external upward force
fbd apne kya banaya vo bhejo
force jo hum de rhe vo hoga right side
contact force hoga left
gravi hoga down
frictional hoga up
mai iska solve kar rhi bhejti

wo agya smj
mujhe μN krke nikalna hai
ans
ok dekho mai ik alag tarike se explain karungi isko
kyunki mujhe ik chiz realise hui just
dekho yaha humko diya nhi hai but we assume ki blocks stationary honge and wont fall
aur jo bhi contact forces hai that will cancel out the applied force aur jo hamara frictional force hai that will work against gravity kyunki dono ki direction opposite hai
using that
totsl gravi wala inka aara 120N right kyunki 20n from block a and 100 from block b jisko frictional force oppose kar rha to us se hamara fricitonal force aa jayega 120N
got it?
f = g(a) + g(b)
f = 20+100
f=120
alright, but im getting wrong answer when i find friction by wall using μN
doing this got the correct ans
that i also tried merko bhi nhi ban rha
mai kuch der me phirse fresh try karti
poorly framed mains question? 2015 ka hai
shyd tak kuch chiz jo miss ho rha hit ho jaaye
could be yeah
i wanna bomb nta
faltu ka tension krwate hai
I'll write and send in sm time, don't have pen paper rn
meu is different
wo problem nhi hai, wall ka u=0.15, so friction by wall uN = 0.15N hoga, ye N thik nhi nikal rha
let me make that fbd wait
I forgot about this completely mb, anyways here you go @Zoro from temu

If fa is upward on block A, it is downward on block B from Newton's second law, I hope tht is understood
Also there is a disclaimer
Technically this is the minimum normal force we are calculating using boundary conditions
Irl the normal force maybe be infinity also but frictional force is 120N
It will make no sense that friction makes the block move up cause mu* infinity = infinity
Lol
That's why it's not advisable to introduce normal force here
I hope I made sense
alright now i got it
thanks
