android studio flatpak seems to work, but device emulator does not
I installed the latest flatpak version of Android Studio and everything seems fine at first, but when I try to start a virtual device nothing happens. My guess is that the device emulator needs something and I can't figure out what it is. Help would be great. Thanks!

I just installed the latest update for Android Studio and it still tries "Connecting to the Emulator" and nothing happens for a long time and then a window pops up with "medium phone The emulator process for AVD Medium_Phone has terminated"
Android studio has a portable release, I would use that instead of the flatpak
Ok cool, thank you very much. That mostly works! But UBlue also wants to be a dev workstation .. shouldn't important stuff like Android Studio just work(tm) ??
the portable one will just work™, issue is most ide flatpak are kinda limited because ide usually doesnt function well in sandbox
It does, the problem is you grabbed an unofficial package that's known to be broken
Use the official portable one
I will likely add this to Bazaar's blacklist
Okay, yeah. Blacklisting broken packages sounds like a good idea!
@kragil I just fallow the Linux Videos installation, it's Ubuntu but works flawlessly.

So you did it in an Ubuntu distrobox?
No, just did the same as the tutorial but in Bazzite.
If you want, I can make a clip of the installation.
