Is it distributed networking/serverless?

Currently we're using Photon but the intention was always to support alternative methods (including peer to peer)
There's a certain amount of abstraction that should help (it's a leaky abstraction but it's better than nothing)
We're be interested in having this functionality in the main release - so keep the lines of communication open if you do decide to dig into this.
Is the reason you can't use Photon one of policy? Or due to networking constraints? (I guess the latter might also be policy. Network security rules etc)
Totally, huge respect & support for everything open source.
Yeah — networking policies are a part, sometimes we have artists with IP that might be best handled locally
The vision is a collaborative MR space using pass through & anchor replication for artists, so anchor replication is best done over the local net because they're relatively large files.
Then you have spatially synced MR painting & real world and virtual art can be mixed
