Concerns About Cheating and Reporting System in Valorant
Hello.
I wanted to share some concerns about the increasing number of cheaters in Valorant recently. There are a lot of players openly using cheats, and some are even streaming it on platforms like TikTok without any consequences. It’s confusing and frustrating to see this happen without any clear action being taken. How is this possible?

Today, a streamer showed up on my For You page who was openly using every type of cheat, while playing Valorant, and he streamed for nearly 3 hours without getting banned. This wasn’t a fake stream or pre-recorded video; I looked up his profile on Tracker, and the matches were live and recent, all full of aces. No red screen, no ban, nothing. Just freely playing and cheating while streaming publicly. Good job!… 👏 disappointing.

I also noticed that the official reporting portal has been down for over three days now. What happened? Now how do I / We report them?
I really enjoy Valorant and appreciate all the work that goes into the game. But it’s becoming impossible to stay motivated when cheaters seem to get away with it so easily. I just hope the team is aware of the issue and working on a fix soon, if not then don’t ask why the game is losing players.. :()

Hard for me to believe as I saw his tracker. Even if it’s pre-recorded, how did he stream 3 hours without getting banned?
They don’t insta ban players
Even tho it’s detected immediately, they ban after 2-3 matches
they prerecord those get banned after and call them undetected.
Let’s say you are right. What about the other questions I’ve asked? Can you give me a clear answer? How are these TikTok accounts still selling cheats and posting clips with gameplays in which they cheat without getting deleted // banned? What happened to the reporting portal? It’s been 3 days and nothing’s been resolved.

I think these cheaters get banned after the match, so no red screens (I could be wrong about this)
Although the cheats are detected early, but they let it happen for another match or 2 on purpose
@Icarus after spoofing they detect some areas from ur router, along with stuff like unspoofable chips on your mobo
It’s really frustrating seeing cheaters openly stream hacks without getting banned like especially when the report system has been down this really hurts the experience for legit players i hope riot seriously addresses this soon before it drives more players away

and either way i feel bad since they distribute these cheats with remote access trojans
and either way the user of the cheat is getting banned and since their target demographic has a smooth brain
they dont know about spoofing and any of that

They can’t ban directly, but they can report it to platform, and since it’s being reported by officials for violating tos of the game or whatever, it gets banned

We do both! However, I personally only ban PUBG MOBILE (and VALORANT MOBILE when it launches) in-game accounts, as that is the project I work on.
We have a business collaboration with TikTok that lets us ban accounts. We have banned 20,466 accounts with 154,480,163 followers so far. ;)

This is technically the community team's job! However, this was my project when I was on the community team back in 2019 and I never felt the need to hand it over to someone else when I transferred to the operations team. I also think it is very fun to keep wrecking cheaters. Would not have been able to do it without all the valuable support and reports from players like yourselves!
