I have a Juki MO-655 that I know I paid less than $600 for but now that I'm looking them up I'm finding they have become a lot more expensive. That's not helpful I'm sure, but it's a great little machine that been with me for at least 6 years
I bought my industrial juki grey market for like half what they retail; I'm wondering if you could find a similar deal with a serger. Do you have any brand preference?
Ive heard good things about juki and brother
But im used to using jukis
Yeah I was going to say brother is well regarded. bernina too
Ill look into them all! Just re threaded this hell machine one more time
If it doesnt work im chucking it out
Felt
What is happening with the threading? Just like not working?
Its just snapping, a different thread each time i try to feed it with test fabric
I fix one and the next one snaps
I feel like this is a feature of singers
Yeah idk, ive tried messing with tension, using different threads (poly, cotton, mix) and it just doesnt make a difference
I have this issue sometimes on my sewing machine too
Just annoying
You've done everything I'd suggest fiddling with :nooooo: I have a consumer singer sewing machine that pulls stupid shit like this too
Uhhhh, you got any links for those grey market jukis?
My 70s husqvarna with its slow gear is wonderful but I’m tired of fighting it on heavier stuff
I just use facebook marketplace tbh
Again I'm not being very helpful here, this was years ago so I have no idea
Second hand might be the easiest way to go
