OBS Flatpak Browser Source not working
Recently installed Bazzite for my steam deck via the deck image.
When setting up OBS i noticed the browser sources not working at all and when going to soundalerts.com to test the browser source nothing pops up in obs and the sound alerts website says "your browser source is offline".
Is this a bug with the obs flatpak in Bazaar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hate to be the it works for me guy, but it works for me. This is on a desktop version though. Are you fully up to date?

could it be an issue with the deck image ?
if by up to date do u mean running topgrade ? if so i did that

screenshot for context
Yeah, that's what I meant. Having a look at my permissions in flatseal.
anything i should be looking for in flatseal ?
I'm not sure, I didn't seem to have changed any permissions from the default.
would it help if i share screenshots of my permissions ?
Sure, than I can compare them to mine

Same settings here. That's really weird :/
i know right its why im so baffled but hey thanks for trying
I'm using the deck image and its working fine here
Try resetting the settings in obs
Go to
~/.var/app/
Solution
and rename the folder
com.obsproject.Studio
to
com.obsproject.StudioBak
Just to save your settings
Open obs again and it should be like first time setup, check if the browser plugin works now
ok ill try will report back in a few
oh wow that worked

then i wonder whats up with my backed up settings 🤔
ill mark as solved then
thankyou at worst ill have to rebuild my scenes
Maybe is a cache thing? Inside your backup settings there is a .cache folder right? Try deleting that and see if it works
I don't remember if there is a .cache folder
ill has a look
yeah there is a cache
Delete it then
deleting the cache did not resolve it with the old settings
Dang,no idea then
well thankyou so much for the help ill just rebuild my scenes no biggie ❤️
