Domain registered at Cloudflare but nothing shows up in the Domain list

Hey,

A client of mine apparently has an account on Cloudflare that she used to register a domain. She's getting a message it needs to be renewed, but when we log in we can see the CLoudflareDNS is setup (wrong) and is asking us to update the namesevers, but when we go to the actual registrar for Cloudflare there are no domains listed and she insists she registered them here. Apparently the only way to get customer support is through Discord, so I apologize if this is the wrong place. We tried to do livechat but it says we have to pay to get support for a paid product (domains) so I don't know what that's all about.

Any guidance here would be appreciated.

So, to confirm, your client doesn't see the domain if they go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/registrar/domain/delfinaco.com, but they do see it in their account dashboard: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/home/domains

Yes. We see it in the /home/domains but nothing in the registrar. Almost as if it wasn't registered here, also I don't see any payment info entered, so I'm not sure how it could have been in the first place. When I do a whois lookup it says the registrar is cloudflare however. I'm not familiar with how cloudflare works. Could she have registered it somewhere else, then used cloudflare DNS and this would mask the registrar in the whois lookup just returning Cloudflare as the registrar?

Using CF DNS doesn't change the registrar/whois information.

That domain looks like it was registered via iCloud, is she signing in with her iCloud account into the dashboard?

no she's using an acct from this domain... which actually doesn't make any sense... since it wouldb't have existed when she registered the domain in the first place. Perhaps she's using the wrong sign in

Yea, I would ask her if she ever used one of the social sign in options like "Sign in with iCloud" and have her try that, and see if it's in that acct

The landing page on https://delfinaco.com/ only happens when the domain is bought via an apple device and Cloudflare's integration with them, so should be a solid bet

GRRR - you nailed it. She used a DIFFERENT account to register the domain, we have that now, and we're going to renew it. Thanks for your insight
