General issue launching Epic/GOG games with GE-Proton

Just that. Wine GE 8.26 makes them work, but I don't seem capable of making any game run under GE Proton (tried almost every GE-Proton 10.x and some of the last 9.x)

Is there any report about a regression that looks related to this? I don't seem to find any
