download being longer that 1 week
I am on CachyOS and its a fresh install. i downloaded heroic a bit ago, made sure it was update and tried to download Kerbal Space Program but ran into this weird issue. It seems to cap over 40MB download speed at 2 MB and then lock the disk write to basically zero which makes the download impossibly long. even after 30 minutes it wouldnt move past .02 disk write. The game is being downloaded to a NVME

Having the same problem since about 8 or so hours ago as well. If I try to download any game it will get the first ~100MB and then the download speed drops to zero and stays there forever.

Same here, fresh install of Zorin 17, and trying to download games through GoG and it potato'd. The first second, it will be normal speed and then just drop. Pausing and restarting the download worked once, and then none of the subsequent times.
I was able to download the game onto my phone, so it's not a local network issue, because it's the same network.

uhh, I tried a few random ones but I know one of them was Theme Hospital
it would get to like 49.92% and then stop
doom 64 was another one

downloaded and played this just fine off gog just now.. could be there was a connection issue

Steam works and lutris
Plus epic had no issue
it was only with gog
sounds similar to me though i never got pass 5 mb

thats the thing about connections to various servers.. just because other stuff works, doesnt mean everything works
