Disable Indexing of User’s Info on the web
Please block web leaderboards in lurkr’s /robots.txt or add an on-by-default option to have them blocked from those not signed in with oauth. I really don’t appreciate people finding where I’m active because of this bot.
Sites have been sent cease and desists for publicly indexing who is active where just like this.
I will be bringing this up to T&S if it’s not addressed in 5 days.
Thanks

thanks for bringing this issue to our attention! we'll change the default visibility to "members-only" retroactively due to a potential gdpr violation (and other privacy laws) and make it obvious that making it public will make it visible to everyone, including search engines.
we'll also add some ways for individual users to opt-out of it...

Where is it?
Why is it not on by default?
Server owners can choose the visibility of the public leaderboard. https://i.imgur.com/MyJYkqw.png
Will you consider making this off by default and retroactively disabling it for those who haven’t changed it?
We'll consider it.
Ok, thank you. Please let me know when you commit to an outcome
Hi, just a reminder I will be bringing this up with trust and safety in 2 days if it is not made off by default and retroactive for existing servers
