Sleep fails in Plasma Desktop Session but works in Gaming Mode
System: Bazzite OS on a PC with a MSI MPG B550 motherboard and an AMD RX 7600 GPU.
Problem: The system fails to suspend correctly when logged into the Plasma Desktop session. The screens go black, but the PC remains on and unresponsive.
Diagnostics Done:
Suspend works perfectly when initiated from Gaming Mode.
Suspend fails when initiated from the Plasma Desktop session.
The failure happens even when using the direct command sudo systemctl suspend from a terminal within the desktop session, plus it started happening after rebasing from deck:stable to bazzite:stable.
Conclusion: This indicates a software component or service loaded exclusively with the Plasma Desktop session is placing a low-level inhibitor lock on systemd's suspend function.
