Elgato Wave3 not working on Bazzite

I have recently started using Bazzite, and am currently trying to get my peripherals setup and functional. I know the Elgato Wave software itself is only available on Windows and Mac, so I wasn't expecting to have access to that at all. However I am having some rather....strange issues with my Elgato Wave3 mic after switching to the Bazzite OS. For starters the microphone itself doesn't seem to be getting recognized. If I go under configuration for Audio Devices I can see "Elgato Wave 3 Analog Stereo" listed under playback devices, however under Recording Devices all three ports (front, rear, and line in) are all listed as "unplugged". Secondly, if I plug my headphones into the mic's audio jack, if I turn the volume up to maximum I am getting endless white noise playing through them, and if I turn the volume all the way down it instead emits just a constant high pitched tone. I've tried doing some research but haven't exactly been able to find a solution for these problems, so just curious if anyone else has dealt with something like this. I'd like to avoid having to buy a new microphone if I can, but this one has been with me for a couple years, so I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it and will bite the bullet if a new mic is my only option πŸ˜…

don't take my word for a fact but im pretty sure that elgato hardware is very proprietary complain to elgato, maybe if enough users complain maybe they'll do something

Honestly, I am aware of that πŸ˜… I got the mic years ago when I wasn't really planning to make a move to Linux. Figured I would still check to see if anyone had found any kind of work around
