The game partially loads and then appears to the click any button menu when any button is pressed via keyboard, mouse or controller the game will semi load in and then freeze and crash and i did verify the files, force update, and installed the newest proton-ge version

maybe try disabling mangohud and the fps count, to remove things from the mix

something looks a bit off, are you using proton-ge from heroic or from something else?

Nothing obvious jumps out at me in that log (well, other than the crash itself). Could you try Flatpak Heroic (just to rule out any system config issues)?
