Troubles with first print
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with my V-Core 4 500 (hybrid setup) and a 0.6mm nozzle. The first layer prints perfectly, but as soon as it starts the second layer or the infill, the 4028 fan kicks in at 100%. This sudden airflow causes poor layer adhesion and the print eventually fails.
Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?
Any help would be really appreciated!

I mean if you already know that the fan is the issue right? Tune your cooling settings
How can I tune the cooling fan settings? What's happening is that the fan goes from 0 to 100% suddenly. I manually lower it to 30–40%, but after a few seconds it jumps back to 100% on its own.
Any idea how to fix this behavior?
yes - put better settings into your slicer?
What slicer do you use?
I used Cura and had no problems, but now I'm using Orca and I'm having some troubles. Now I'm looking for tutorials
Stick to orca btw - what filament type?
In orca you can change the cooling settings in the filament profiles under the cooling tab
I Tried with this setting, Worked a lot better but still perfectible. I'm using PLA+, this is the results and setting for the cooling;

100% for pla is definitely too much
let me search something for you really quick
Printables.com

Download 3D printable STL models
print that with the settings from the screenshot, then you have a result for your fan speeds
i'm printing my high speed pla with 65%
thanks !
Can you please share with me your settings so I can have a good base to start ? (I Know I'm asking a lot 😅 )
my hs pla isn't really tuned, i only use it as support for petg prints, so i'm not quite sure if i can be any more help than telling you i'm using min 50% and max 65%
but even that can be a lot different between different brands
Perfect, will do the testing this weekend. Thanks for all your support!
