Are bisect servers safe against people trying to backdoor?
A griefer has been on my friends server and I think it could possibly be someone backdoored the server as they have stacks of tnt within a way to small border (which could be duping) and they changed game rules by turning off mob grief and more importantly keep inventory off. We have a handful of mods but my friend added them and they are all pretty popular and none were added by the members. Could this be a possibility?
Ps: we use curseforge and the server is bisect

other than bisect is awful, it is secure, are you using offline-mode?
We aren't using offline mode
Then do the following: Don't download sketchy shit, and don't put anything on the server some gives you
always ask for a download link from modrinth/curseforge/bukkit etc
i mean that isnt safe either really, safer yes, but isnt foolproof at all
curseforge has malware, modrinth has malware, bukkit/spigot has malware
i never said it was foolproof. but its better than nothing, id say stick with the major mods/plugins, but even those have had its fair share of malware etc.
i mean 90% of the mods he has (11 mods) are all popular/add ons while there is one small mod he had a friend who did codeing look at the code for it and he didn't see malware
