Wobbly nozzle.

Hi i was digging why my printer is not achieving smooth outter perimeters at high speeds and found out wobbly nozzle assembly. Dissasembled entire hotend and found out that the little titanium screws are tightened all the way up but the nozzle with heatblock is wobbling because the screws or to long or something... Does anybody had the same problem or I'm very Lucky?

That IS strange. I was taking mine apart just a few days ago to clear a clog and the part sticking out in that last photo that goes into the cold end fit VERY snugly and wouldn't allow any movement on it's own, the screws were just there for reinforcement and taking the strain off. Does that post move in the hotend on it's own?

Nope. Tube is tight. I made little thin spacers from metal sheet and everything is rock solid now

When you nozzle touched the bed, most of the time, you have won the lotto and the tube between the cold and hot part are broken..

I have this same problem and agree that the screws appear to be too long. When you say you made spacers, did you put them under the screw heads or between the hotend and heat synch?

Just under head screw 🙂 everything now works perfect Ratrig and rapido said the hot end must be damaged and rejected this case

Ok thanks. I completely disassembled mine and inspected the heat break tube and it was fine and not broken or loose. I think I figured out what is going on with this. I suspect it was an assembly issue and they tightened the set screw for the heat synch before tightening the 3 Ti screws thereby creating a small gap. I tightened the 3 screws first, then the set screw and the wobble is gone. I have tried to tighten those screws many times before and it didn't fix it. the set screw was holding the tube firm preserving the gap I think.

Can we see an example of a bad print produced by this issue?
