puchna pdega teacher se apne kabhi doubt nahi aaya ye
integralofe^2v
imma consider it as a cylinder, u can multiply by n for solenoid, btw do u mean later surface as the curved walls of solenoid?

thats the only surface so yeah ig
integralofe^2v
hows the currnt flowing? along the cylinder or along curve? or is it a wire passing throguh its axis?

solenoid hai ....
integralofe^2v
i confused myself by assuming it as a cylinder, great.

do you have the ans to this? like can u confirm the ans or is it just a general doubt

its B^2 /2mu where B= muni
nori
nori4w ago
yeah like that's the gen formula of magnetic pressure like electrostatic pressure was sigma^2/2epsilon0 here we have B^2/2mu0 you can use it for all cases ig

whi toh baat hai, can you ? i basivally want proof wahan bhi kaam chal jayega uss se

oh okay you can.. cuz we pretty much did the same thing for electrostatic pressure but yeah, proof idk will have to try

haan bas proof chahiye
integralofe^2v
Proof for that formula requres some advanced physics such as vector/tensor calculus and maxwell equations afaik
CorrodedCoffin
CorrodedCoffinOP4w ago
i did prove it for cylinder tho ...
integralofe^2v
Yea let me try if theres another method
integralofe^2v
I did this for solenoid, ig u can prove it for some shapes but in any general case u need maxwells equations

b4 i proceed i shall mention that the magnetic field due to a current carrying wire exactly on its wires surface is acctually the avergae of inside and outside filed of the wire which is (u0 * I)/4 * pi * R. its jut like electric field just at the surface of the conducting shell which is 1/2 * kQ/R^2

sorry whats the relevancy here

Nvm my mrthod aint working fot current carying wore Wire
