Geo check SEA region

Hey there, we are facing high latency with hyperdrive. Can we know in which datacenter our hyperdrive are running on ? These are the id's of our hyperdrive 1. d8646d64296b433ab021b32c4f3a66c9 2. be92bf0733d3475791987cd7ed539765 Our database is hosted on ap-south-1 which is nearby to cloudflare's BOM datacenter. We have enabled smart placement but still we are consisently seeing 400ms+ latency. Thanks for the help

For d8646d64296b433ab021b32c4f3a66c9: Pool is running out of Mumbai, which is correct. Your workers are mostly out of Delhi and Mumbai, but I see traffic from elsewhere too. I've included the average session duration for those below, so you can see the difference. There's not a ton I can do on this one, Smart Placement isn't something I have control over.

(this is over the last 30 days, so it may have converged more in recent days/weeks) Checking the other now Ah, the other one has the pool placed in Singapore. I'll re-run our placement and fix that one for you, to also run out of Mumbai. Okay, updated be92bf0733d3475791987cd7ed539765 to force the pool to Mumbai. That one should have lower latencies now. Re-running this for the last 10 days, still seems like there's a few sneaking in from elsewhere, but it looks like it's still converging.

Thanks for the help , the latency has dropped from 400ms to almost 150-200ms. Looking into that 150-200ms latency, it seems our backend worker got smart placed into the SIN datacenter now. I am hoping with new requests it will slowly get placed in BOM datacenter

Sounds good! It'll take a while but smart placement does update its priors so it'll move over same as it moved to SIN originally. Sorry about the miss, there. Glad I could help.
