Are you interested in Sailing Performance tools?
I'm building a realtime widget using polar chart and live environmental data to display sailing performance insights; things like next tack and gybe angles, boat speed vs polar potential, optimum beat and run angles for current wind speed, VMG to windward and waypoint, etc. The requirements are a polar diagram and optionally a Signal K racing stream file.
Looking for volunteers to test and refine the product.

I could test on long distance races, I have a couple of 60mile races coming up in Aug, I am always interested in understanding how I am doing against my polar and what the best VMG angle to waypoint is and my performance against best VMG.

Do you have a recorded stream file by any chance??
The file I'm using is not a good simulation file. Too much motoring... If I can get one it would help to test a minimum before you try it out

No. Just your n2kn, mea0183 and such inputs.
That will give me your sensor data and I can run devired-data and other plugins on top of that data just like you do.
No need to filter unless it creates gigantic files. At a minimum we need:
- navigation.headingTrue
- navigation.speedThroughWater or navigation.speedOverGround
- environment.wind.speedTrue
- environment.wind.angleTrueWater
- GPS data so I can visually account for what's going on in Freeboard-SK

Hi David, i got both a polar and some racing data (including waypoints set to the next buoy) here at home. I can run tests.
Arevyou aware of the polar performance plugin by Hanst. This does create most of the metrics you'll need.
