@Son7 what's your spec? how much fps did you lose
My pc specs: GPU is RX 6700 and CPU is Ryzen7 8700F 8 core. Before I used to get around 250-270. But now I’m dropping down to 230-175 and it’s really unstable. I’m also getting a lot of screen tearing after the update, as my fps drops by a lot.
;-;
60 fps here btw
Nvm it’s getting better rn
I had to restart my pc though
on AMD might be shader cache related, try going to firing range and selecting every character and using their abilities
Yo junimo I fixed the 185 yesterday before update using cloudfare
Now its back any ideas? The dev in the support said it had nothing to do with the cpu
But my network connection through vanguard
Alr Ill try that thank you very much
any plans/chance for DX12 and shader pre-caching option in the Valorant future??? Valorant is kinda unplayable on AMD gpus due to shader cache stutters
It stutters but it’s better than before
I just had to restart my pc after the update
could you upload your logs/crash dump so I can forward it to the right folks?
The final kill animations also seems to cause stutters and drops
Is there a fix
To this?
what's your spec/gpu? also how long does it take you to reproduce this?
does it happen in firing range?
im having the same issue never had this before the update turned all graphics to low
So I bet, the answer is no
gg xd
If your gpu is amd
Playing games helped me fix it
It’s now getting better
To my understanding it’s related to the shaders cache in the old UE4
So playing games can help develop a new cache or smth
That’s what I heard
ahh
as soon as you update gpu driver stuttering will return
only solution DX12 + shader pre-caching option
Oh
Idk then
unfortunately Riot wont add it I bet
so AMD users its GG for us if you want to stay up to date with the drivers
There's no point in speaking up anymore since Riot has been pretending the problem doesn't exist for many years. Good night, everyone
the last release for ue4 was in 2021. there's no more support for ue4. if riot wants to keep developing Valorant, then they should switch to ue5
