Extruder temp false reading

After finishing a print yesterday (successfully) I saw that Update manager showed me i could update System (OS Packages). I updated this and this morning when switching on the printer it shows the extruder is 94 degr. C (While it feels room temp), i.e. ik looks like there is a 60 degr. offset (also the extruder fan is on as it believes it is required). Any ideas how this is possible?

that points to an issue with your thermal sensor

Is that something that can change over night? Due to booting, or power overload or something, you think?

yes, it is a consumable and they do break
