Jupyter notebook - does it keep on running?
I am using Jupyter notebook on my pod, can I close the tab, will it keep running?
JMaybe, but to be safe run it inside tmux

Yes. I tried, and it stopped, but why it stopped? I though the service runs remotely.

JTry screen if it doesnt work you're using the tools wrong
JThat's too vague, depends on how your application works, maybe you closed your browser it closes the connection and closes all the programs while the service (the pod) is still on
JIf you use terminal, use tmux or screen to run your application so it doesn't close
