Does DH work when it’s the only mod?
no i get the same crash message
What is your RAM speed and how many separate stick do you have?
Maybe the PC is just unstable
Try running all core with hyper threading enabled, small FFTs in Prime95 for at least half an hour, if any of the threads crash, the hardware will be at fault
blue screened immediately with clock watchdog timeout
did i mess up any settings?
ram speed is 6000mhz ddr5 btw
2 16gb sticks
Possibly, though in my opinion unlikely
You can try reseating all the components one by one
You can also try disabling XMP/EXPO and/or removing 1 stick (then the other one
You can also try different RAM slots
The motherboard RAM or the CPU can simply also be defective then you can try replacing them with the guarantee process
Getting to know which component is not working as expected can be hard though, as most people don’t have any spare CPUs, motherboards and RAM sticks to check each separately
This situation is not my specialty though, you can wait for more and possibly better suggestion from other in this situation
I guess an important thing to try is also updating the BIOS, OS, drivers (not only GPU)
reseated the cpu and it worked for about 5 minutes then crashed, not sure if thats progress or not
updated the bios and seems to be working for now, fully loaded all chunks at default render distance and been running like that for around 15 minutes now so all i can do is pray
thanks for the help
You rocking a 14900K with out of the box BIOS all this time?
ikr 🤣
i thought it was updated tbh but apparently not
Friend of mine degraded their 14700K for running it at 1.45V for 6 months. It dropped clocks from stable 5 GHz to barely able to hold 4.8 GHz. Really hope you still have that longevity on yours.
😝
ahh well
I myself degraded a 13900K, though at some point all stability came back (at least for now) so I don’t question it. Haven’t checked if clocks decreased though.
