Long shutdown and then freeze
When shutting down the computer it stays a few minutes with the circle moving, and then it stops moving but still doesn't shutdown

I've been having the same issue, but very randomly.
If I issue shutdown from console it's fine, but if I use the GUI menu it sporadically happens.
I'll try using console next time and update with the result
press esc once
it will show you what is stalling

It's frozen here, unresponsive to further input
I waited a couple of minutes and nothing changed, so I then shut it off with long pressing power button
I have the same issue, even raised ticket on GitHub but no reply by bazzite team
I have this issue nearly every time I select Shut Down OR Restart on my G1. Would love a fix!
For now forcing a shutdown and restarting is kinda the vest you can do :c
i experienced this myself on the legion go when on vacation, so far it has only happened while i have had the dock (that would overheat in the heatwave) with a m.2 ssd connected
i can say that when it does freeze, it has already reached the shutdown stage and it would be fine to force shutdown (as annoying as it is) in case you were worried about damage.
Will there be any fix in upcoming updates for this issue ? After searching discord, there are more people suffering from the same issue with different systems
have you tried running this commands in terminal
sudo sed -i 's~TimeoutStopSec=.*$~TimeoutStopSec=2~g' /etc/systemd/system/plugin_loader.service
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
i have the same issue (on my PC).
If i try your commands in terminal i get that it can't be read: File or Folder not found.
I will try the command tomorrow and see what I get
