I.pi.r².B ho gaya torque. (Along x axis) System ka moi about x axis ig is 2/3mr²-m(dist. of com from origin in figure)

moi kaise likha
SchrodingerBilla
Mera wala ans aara hai na
SirLancelotDuLac
Torue is along x axis toh angular momentum is about x axis. Uske according find the moi. Which I can't figure out how to do ;_;

Shouldnt it be half of that of sphere Answer to vese usse bhi nahi aa raha hai
SirLancelotDuLac
Okay, I'm so dumb, I didn't notice. This will have same moi as a spherical shell ig.

thats wht i thought and with half the mass it turns out to be mr^2/3 ?

CorrodedCoffinOP4w ago
ans is A my guys it comes when u take moi about com of the shell idk why tho
integralofe^2v
Its not hinged or anything so obv it will rotate abt its com which u cn find using knows formulas and u can find moi abt that axis which passds through com similarly using parallel axis theorem
SirLancelotDuLac
Mass would be m itself na. Cause the mass of the full sphere would 2m.

half sphere ke lie bhi to divide by 2 krna pdega
SirLancelotDuLac
Mass toh m hi hai na sphere ka? Imagine ki main sphere ke har ek point ko 2 equal halves mein todke usse circular face pe mirror kar doon, toh you get a full sphere of mass m while radial distances of all the (net points) remains unchanged.
