Im getting 36mr^2
Ia=mr^2/4+mr^2
Ib=mr^2/2+m(3r)^2
ic=mr^2/4+m(5r)^2
Whats the ans?
its either 26 or 29 mr^2
not sure but ya one of these is the right ans
Im getting 29, will send sol in few hours after class

ie written MOI for 3 discs differently ten added them alll, btw for 3rd disc u need to find MOI abt its edge first then go distnce 4R above it and apply parallel axis theorem

ye 16r^2
that is (4r)^2 na
why did u take mr^2/2 for ring at dist 3r from hinge
oh u can see how the ring would rotate by shifting axis to centre of ring
right?
cuz ring is rotating abt its diameter like this

yes
alr got it
we good?
I am
Dk bout potato
yeah ill just close this in couple of mins
