Is this water damage and do I send them back
These are some officine creative boots I got off vinted- the leather is meant to look unevenly dyed-
But on the 2nd boot it’s like there’s some huge spot that looks like water damage or something like that (which wasn’t in photos). Or is it maybe just a patch of dye from whatever wash they put on the boots?
Would you send them back?

that's water damage but tbh officine looks better thrashed
theres some stuff u can try to make the water damage look more uniform but up to u, can also ask cobbler. iirc most basic fix is just to rub the area with a damp cloth to make the water damage more uniform looking
if u got a good deal on those, id keep
these look fantastic
Only thing I would add is it might be worth negotiating with the seller depending on the price you paid. If they were a really good deal I would leave it alone though
If it wasn't mentioned or visible in photos you could always get a small partial refund
Yeah ty I think yall are right
I’ll think and maybe sell them back tbh it’s slightly more « damage » than I’m comfortable with
Got them for 100€ anyways
(Also the shaft is a bit big on my leg :yea: )
insane price
Officine goes cheap on vinted tbh but yeah I can probably get price plus shipping back within a day
Or put them on vestiaire for more :xd:
My officine engineer boots were 25€ :blushiedog:
(And for ref this is how they fit I’m trying them on,
Would’ve been the right size except unfort the shaft is too wide to properly hold my ankle 😔 (it slips to the side))
