Trying to connect SignalK to USB GPS on Windows
So I have a Pansonic Toughbook CF33 wth an integral GPS which is made available on COM11. I have verified that there's a NMEA0183 stream coming through that at 4800 baud. Both OpenCPN and my own homebrew multiplexer can see and use that datastream.
Unfortunately, SignalK does not. Now I now SignalK can, so obviously it's something I'm doing wrong. here's the data source:
Note that when my multiplexer reads the stream and copies it to a TCPStream, then SignalK reads it correctly. I am trying to get rid of the multiplexer and let SignalK do that work for me.

On a Windows OS, ports above COM9 must be declared as follows:
\\.\COMXX
Reconfigure your port to be below COM10 or enter your port com like that:
I shut down every instance of things using the comm port (multiplexer, opencpn, etc.) and configured the serial port as per your suggestion. This is what I'm seeing now, after restarting SignalK server:
and my current settings:
And will do on the issue... Thank you for all your support @Christian MOTELET

OK, in Windows, try changing the port of your GPS to COM9 and in Signal K enter only COM9.
Unfortunately, can't change the port right now. I'm actually navigating and don't want to risk the loss of my navigation system while I play with the driver settings. Once we're at the dock, I plan on wiping this computer down to Linux and working from there.
I much prefer linux to Windows anyway. Thank you all for your assistance!
