steam acting hella sus on bazzite-dx

this is a fresh new system. I literally haven't installed anything cause bazaar doesn't work cause I am in a banned country. first steam spammed me with "Do you want to participate in hardware survey?", where I press "yes", and after 5 seconds I get it again, and it ended after a reboot. Then it started showing me that it needs to install something for a gamepad and restart, except I don't have a gamepad. Then it closed itself for no reason, except it failed to close so it was just in a dimmed state. Then after a reboot I do nothing and it opens a steam window saying "how would you like to change your email adress?".
Solution:
Maybe try a fresh reinstall of Steam. You can use the terminal ujust command ujust fix-reset-steam

now this window appeared. this is like 5 hours into my laptop being on btw, it just randomly decided to update a gamepad driver despite me having no gamepads

yeah I think adding ujust fix-reset-steam stopped it

Its happening again it said "Update for sony controller [Object object]" and turned steam off for no reason except it is stuck on shutting steam down window I picked the "Ignore" option I did ujust fix-reset-steam again

I have this same issue just now, something about sony controller update popup on top of add non steam game popup as steam is shutting down, the previous time around it's also the steam support popup weirdly enough, and I think it's not a bazzite-dx issue because i'm on bazzite. on top of that while i do connect a controller before, it's not connected when the popups happened, nor it's a sony controller since it's a chinese third party controller though with playstation functionalities.

I know as of now there's a recent stable update which I'll do soon but i figured it's probably worth mentioning since there's this thread
