PipeWire + Proton game crashes audio

Audio works flawlessly for all apps and programs, including native Linux games (TF2 for example), however, loading into a Proton game makes the audio stop working from my computer entirely. Audio only comes back after I disconnect the skin with qpwgraph which leaves me with no in-game audio but the rest works. Audio does work if I Alt+Tab out of the game and reconnect the pipe, but immediately stops after focusing on the game again. Any help is really appreciated!!
