lagging with modded mc
Hi! A while back I tried using distant horizons, shaders, and all those kinds of mods with my new pc (has a 4080 good cpu etc.) and at the time I had bad internet so it didnt run at its best. Today I decided now that i have good internet id try it again but my game seems to be lagging significantly more (like 5fps) and I dont know whats causing it.
I have sodium iris distant horizons and continuity + voice chat for a server im in (idk if that effects anything)
Can someone please help me optimize my game and make it not lag because it seriously shouldnt be this low performance

before I was getting like 60 - 100 fps now its literally 6 lol
Downgrade MC to 1.21.4 or older
Each version after that decreased the fps more and more

if I am on 1.21.8 tho do u recomend I remove dh entirely
wait @Miki_P98 i got rid of dh and now just shaders are causing me to have 5 fps
is it shaders too dont work on newer versions or something?
I went from 400 down to 5 fps
even with the lowest of low settings on the shaders
its 8 fps
Vanilla has much lower performance so shaders will ahev lower performance too
