It's in the Details - Topic of the day 8/7/25
In a sea of clothes and brands, sometimes the details are what make the difference. What are your favorite details - either of a specific type of clothing (e.g. double zipper) or from a specific designer (e.g. Final Homme including seed packets in their parkas)? How much does that impact your choice to buy/not buy?

I love it when pants have buttons for suspenders. So comfy!
buttons on a button up. one of the big things I notice is if the buttons are nice or not
I like double layers of fabric especially when it's not just the same as the rest of the garment like on this jacket I have or the Kapital lumber pants

I also got this shirt in my recent proxy order where the sleeve shirring goes almost up to the elbow which I thought was a nice detail
I'm really digging side tabs and extended waistbands at the moment

Also big fans of simple garment, but an interesting texture/pattern which you don't notice until up close
Leather rolls 🥵

side tabs are comfier than belts. Not as cool looking but much comfier.
I love double zippers. I think right now, after multiple culls, I'm only left with outerwear or jackets that have double zips if they have zippers.
See I think they look a lot cooler than belts :xd:
I mostly thrift and it’s always fun to find interesting buttons. Mother of pearl, cats eye, horn are all cool.
I must respectfully disagree. I like how a belt can break up your silhouette and I also really like big chunky belt buckles

Not as elegant though
cats eye buttons? what do they look like?
this?

Yes. They are common on old workwear especially.
wow never knew these existed thx
