Hello, GTA V Enhanced doesnt start via HGL, i did "Allow installation of games with broken or denied anticheat" after installation, i tried USE_FAKE_EPIC_EXE=true and even fix.bat fix but nothing not even rockstar launcher shows up? I am on Pika OS 5700X3D/7900GRE.

how did you install heroic? it's missing a file that should be there, some non-official heroic packages don't do it right and miss some things

you seem to be having this issue https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/431569 and in that case it's a nixos packaging error

It comes preinstalled pretty much with pika os because it has “gaming package” option and i am not sure about latter but its based on debian sid

Also i dont have any problems installing other games via HGL only GTA V

yes, only GTA needs that specific file that is missing

you could get the file from https://github.com/Etaash-mathamsetty/heroic-epic-integration/releases and put it in

/opt/Heroic/resources/app.asar.unpacked/build/bin/x64/win32/EpicGamesLauncher.exe

/opt/Heroic/resources/app.asar.unpacked/build/bin/x64/win32/EpicGamesLauncher.exe

but I don't know what else could be missing from that heroic package, it doesn't seem to be an official heroic package if that's missing

FWIW you can just install the .deb package provided by us, or the Flatpak. That should definitely work

It does. I was simply trying to reduce the number of variables your particular config has. So by reducing the number of weird config settings to known good working ones, we eliminate potential problems.

Not that my suggestion was the solution but rather intended to reduce noise.

Anyway looks like a build issue with using a non official heroic release.

But its not the problem was that i was missing few files which was instantly fixed when i reported to Pika Os developer

yes but my point is reducing the number of variances away from the norm, it makes the problems stand out more
