external harddrive as main drive, is this safe ?
im using an external harddrive for my main storage
UPLOAD_LOCATION=/mnt/immich-app
The location where your database files are stored. Network shares are not supported for the database
DB_DATA_LOCATION=./postgres
like say my external harddrive gets disconnected (it did once and it corrupted the second half of my data) but the first half is fine.
is there a proper setup to futureproof this ?
Current Setup:
Surface pro 3 tablet (running linux mint) with usb dongle
2tb external harddrive connected thru usb
