Adhesion issue

I've done all the calibration, z offset, scoure pad soap clean, light fine sand paper, bed leveling, height map, magigoo, filament dryer, dehumidifier box reading 19 % etc etc and I get this happening. I've tried everything I can think of or find on the forums.

What the print looks like on the printer with copious amounts of magigoo.

Have you tried reducing the first layer flow ratio? ive been having the same problem.. and im still trying to manage it but this has brought me a little closer to a better first layer. What Slicer are you working with?

Been using perusal slicer, but I also have orca that I’ve been dipping toes into. My flow is already down to .85 but I can try lowering it.

Nozzle too low. The filament has nowhere to go. That’s why you have those raised areas. Do you have beacon scan compensation enabled?

Yes I do have it enabled. Looking in my printer and beacon config I guess I truely don’t know.

Should have something similar to the circled area. You need it enabled and also a profile.

Do you have heat soak enabled? (Suppose you have VC4)

Yeah that I do have arm it’s 1hr. I’m not enclosed yet so might have to adjust later.

Mine is not enclosed as well and 20 mins heat soak (enabled via configuration) works just fine for me. So either it's not a heat problem or your printer is in a much colder place then mine 😅

So this is what is in an older printer.cfg. I’ll put the compensation back in. The heat soak is there I’ll drop the time. variable_bed_heat_soak_time: 3600 variable_hotend_heat_soak_time: 300 variable_beacon_scan_compensation_enable: True # Enables the beacon scan compensation Don’t need the profile and probe count ? The copy I found did not have those. Wondering if I took it out due to this; Gantry twist relative to the center Very low gantry twist: 26.601352μm. No beacon scan compensation needed. Front left: -19.181290μm Front center: -2.446063μm Front right: 3.073730μm Left center: -14.864606μm Right center: 8.861470μm Back left: -26.601352μm Back center: -7.185945μm Back right: -0.986538μm Addded the scan compensation back in. Reran all the calibrations and am trying the larger print now since small area print went fine as usual. Only on second layer but so far it is looking better. Looks like putting it back in was the fix. Thanks for that. I have been looking at it for months and never noticed that was no longer there. Still not sure why/how it got removed.
