Game Stuttering/FPS Freezing Since UE5
Since the UE5 update, I have been experiencing consistent frame freezing and game stuttering. Included is a video of what it looks like in-game. The video doesn't really do it justice, as medal can only record at 60fps, but it is still noticeable. Normally, I run a stable 300ish fps at 1440p. The in-game graph still says I'm running that, but there's also very quick and consistent drops in the graph.
These are my specs:
CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12600K
GPU: Radeon RX 7600 XT 16gb VRAM
RAM: 32gb DDR5
1tb SSD
I have installed the latest drivers for my GPU and have done a fresh install. No luck.
Capping my frames also doesn't help, as the freezes still occur at like 90fps. Reducing resolution was also unhelpful.
Someone said online that disabling onboard lan controller in bios could be a fix, but this just disables the ethernet adapter and I can't connect my pc to wifi.
I've also heard that GPU's similar to mine have had issues with UE5, but I'm hoping it's not simply out of my control.
Any help would be so appreciated; it's to the point where I don't want to queue ranked at all.
