This is way beyond what jee would ever ask though but still This is something similar to the case of CO if you wanna see it like that Back bonding to the pi star of the N2 Inreases the N-N bond length But decreases the metal centre and N bond length That’s how I would do it without much background There could be some intricacies which I’m not aware of but for the most part… this approach should work

To agar titanium isko electrons de To vo Ti-N bond ka to bonding orbital banega But N2 me internally vo Pi Star me jaa raha hai So technically N2 ka internal bond length badhega And Ti-N ka 'cause bonding orbital or antibonding dono ban Raha hai with that lone pair usage from N To unka bond length decrease ho jayega Got it?
