Heater bed not heating correctly
So odd issue just started happening on my VCore 4 400 hybrid, went to start a new print and the print bed heater got to temp then just started dropping. This caused safety shutdown. Now when heating temp on display goes down?? Any idea what the problem is or how to correct?

Does it heat at all anymore?
Sorry for delay, does not heat up at all. set temp and hold hand on it and get nothing. Then klipper restarts as stated above.
I'd bet it is the thermal fuse built into the bed. Disconnect it and check continuity
I’m assuming that’s in the bundle taped underneath? So cut open that tape to access.
If no continuity, then yeah that's how you'd get to it
I don't know about the later models but on mine you can pull it out although it does not come out easily.
Ok so what’s a good vendor to get a new fuse to US? Also if someone were to accidentally cut through the thermistor wire attempting to free said fuse I’m assuming they could solder it back and shrink wrap it and it would be ok?
as long as you can solder that size wire well, that should be fine
You can buy them on Amazon or AlliExpress. I would crimp the wire rather than solder since it is exposed to high temperature.
Get one from west3d. My bed thermistor and ssr failed and I replaced them both.
I screwed up the wires too much they are not making a proper connection. If I buy a new bed heater how do I get the old one off??
I've heard it's possible but difficult. Scrape as much as you can with a razor then some mineral spirits or acetone to get the adhesive off?
Unless you have no wires left I would crimp on extensions. Amazon sells metal wire crimps.
I’ll try this. These tiny wires for the thermistor are a pain.
You don't have to cut it, you just pull it out.
You have photos?
I went through this process a couple times before I realized it was a bad fuse in a/c plug assembly. I also have a ton of thermal fuses and can send you some stuff if you live in the US.
Had to cut. There’s some glue in here.

Sorry for delay. This is one of many hobbies.
I am in the Us.
You know what size wires the thermistor is. That thin red one is small as hell.
I don't. You can go bigger but I wouldn't go smaller.
